I was actually thinking to visit Panama. I’ve heard that is beautiful.
And WOW! that price for my own private Island.. must be the paradise man.

This is the greatest place to stay away from the crowds. Helena and BoBo take excellent care to ensure that every guest gets personal attention. A great place to sepnd a vacation.

We stayed at the Garden of Eden for a week and loved every minute. Bob and Helena make you feel like you are visiting friends. Helena and her staff prepared the most delicious meals each evening. We enjoyed our stay and on our next trip to Panama we’ll hope to be able to get reservations again. Thanks again for making our stay memorable.

WOW, this place is truly AUESOME! It is just like the pictures. The plants are beautiful and it is so peaceful. If you want to clear your mind and sway away in a hammock with the breeze and a good book, this is the place. It’s always around 80 degrees and the pool is delightful. You can also snorkel and Kayak right from the island. If you want to party and let your hair down, that’s always an option, as their drinks are poolside prepared and delivered. Helena and Bobbie are the best of the best hosts. You are made to feel like good friends and immediately feel at home. If that is not enough, they will water taxi you into Bocas Island for an island lunch or ice cream. Meals are extremely reasonable. They will recommend places to go to, so don’t forget to ask. Can’t wait to go back!

What a place. We stayed with Bob and Helena for a week and had a great time. The location is perfect and the food is great. Helena and Bob are such great hosts that you feel like you are visiting friends. There are so many activities to enjoy and the quiet of the resort is number one. The views from the decks of the rooms are great, especially at sunset overlooking the ocean. We met several other Americans living in the area and they all stop by just to visit. We had an outstanding time getting away from the race and were able to slow down and enjoy the surroundings. We are looking forward to returning for another visit in the near future and highly recommend staying with Bob and Helena for a great vacation.

We stayed for two days in April 2007 at this wonderful and lovely little island. It is a true Garden of Eden. You cant get a better feeling than being on a little island, on top of the hill in he middle of nature. Where can you rent three rooms and have your own little island. The Resort offers a daily water taxi ride into town which we never used because the place is so wonderful. The water taxi stand in town is only a few minutes from the airport in the middle of the town and it takes only about 10 minutes to arrive at this wonderful Resort, which is harmonicly integrated into nature and sits like a queen on the top of a little island. Bob and Helena are the owners of the island and the resort and they are wonderful, lovely people and the best hosts you can imagine. Bob is a genius in consruction and built the resort together with Helena and the help of Indians in less then one year, which is still unbelievable when you will see the quality of the resort and the lovely vegetation. There are only three rooms available so you can be lucky if you get one of them. There are two guestrooms next to the pool and one suite set aside. Every room has a little romantic terrace with a beautyful view where you can see the sunrise. The food (fresh lobster, filet mignon) was exceptional. Bob and Helena are special people with a great sense of humor and you wish to have them around you as often as possible. At this place you can have a great quiet time, kayaking or just floating at the pool or sit at the bar and have a good time. If we go back to Bocas del toro this will be the place where we will stay. Helena & Bob are absolutley fantastic! They will treat you like family and make you feel like you are at home just hangin out! I highly approve and would say anyone who is reading this and trying to figure out a place to stay in Bocas …look no further you have found the place! Trust me it will be an experience you will not reget!

We are a group of expat American women living in Bocas that decided to take a day trip to Garden of Eden. We contacted Bob and Helena in advance and they said they would be happy to accommodate us. 30 of us arrived at the Garden of Eden just before noon and Bob and Helena were very welcoming. Their grounds are kept in pristine condition and the plants and flowers are gorgeous. The hotel itself features an immaculately kept pool, neat-as-a-pin guest rooms, oversized, inviting hammocks to lay in and an open-air bar and restaurant. There are breathtaking views from every angle of their decks. Bob and Helena made sure we all instantly had refreshments in our hands and had taken the time to prepare a delicious buffet for us–including baked chicken, Swedish meatballs, pasta salad, fish dip and quesadillas. We spent an extremely relaxing afternoon discovering the grounds and lounging by and swimming in the pool. I feel fortunate to live in such a wondrous tropical area–and Bob and Helena have truly created the embodiment of the original Garden of Eden right here in Bocas. Thank you so much for a memorable day, Bob and Helena. I will highly recommend your idyllic getaway to everyone I know–and I look forward to returning again and again.

I live here in Bocas. I have the property to build a resort on, when I get around to it. My model would have to be the Garden of Eden. Spectacularly well done. The amenities, the construction, the landscaping are all the best Bocas has to offer. If you are coming to Bocas and want to get out of the Disco madness, there is no better place to stay, IMHO. Bob and Helena did it right, and do it right. Enuff said!

We just returned from a week at Au Natural in Bocas and had a great time there. We were looking for a one night stay place to land on the way out of Bocas and thought of your place but could not make the arrangements. I was surprised at the lack of clothing optional possibilities in the area until Aaron at Au Natural mentioned your place after I mentioned that I had been in the nude on the ocean side of their place. He said that you were a new start-up and that we might try it. Next time in the area we surely will stay at your facility. Thanks for the over-the -horizon sight for future resort possibilities.
